The images produced by this model
are unmistakably the most realistic representations
available. Normal anatomy has an inherently
large percent of variation, as shown above.
Therefore, we believe that direct visualization of
desired vessels through the use of ultrasound
must be mandated. Further, this model accurately
serves as excellent practice for real instances of
anatomical variation of internal jugular vein as well
as venous and arterial cannulation.
